SPEAKING INVITE TO IWDK, DENMARK APRIL 2018

Denmark's Tech Festival for Everyone

Internet Week Denmark - Denmark’s leading digital festival *IWDK

The one-day conference is free of charge for participants because we believe it’s important to share knowledge and insights without any cost.

I was asked to speak at Denmark’s largest digital festival; Internet Week Denmark which is a partly crowdsourced non-profit festival about the digital economy - There are about 7500 participants, 250 speakers and 100 events through-out the week. The event takes place in Aarhus. Past speakers include amongst others John Seely Brown, Jimmi Wales, April Rinne, David Helgason, Ida Tin etc.

For this year’s opening event, I shared my perspective on the (digital) future. The theme was around "Digital Optimism?", where we investigated both the optimistic and daunting aspects of the future together.

The crowd was somewhere between 300-400 policy makers as well as tech and marketing people, digital entrepreneurs and students. The Mayor of Aarhus spoke alongside Max Schorr from GOOD Magazine, Morten Primdahl, Co-founder of Zendesk and Jamie Bartlett, author of Radicals and The Dark Net.
